Villa Ca’ Zen, Venetian villa dating back to the early XVIII century, is a beautiful country-side venue, now agritourism and B&B, in the amazing natural frame of the Po Delta Park in Polesine.
Its rustic architecture brings back the local style of the Casoni di Valle typical of Polesine.
Inside you breath a familiar air thanks to the presence of the Avanzo Family, there for generations, who welcome Guests who want to plunge in to the rhythm of life in the country and love being in direct contact with nature and the open air.
Ca’ Zen is an ideal venue to welcome all kinds of events: weddings, concerts, parties, business meetings, workshops, training days, yoga retreats.
The home cooking offers a menu of the traditional cuisine with genuine farm-to table products, promoting and sustaining the local farms.
Ca’ Zen is also remembered for the presence of the romantic English poet Lord Byron, who lived in the Villa in the ‘800s with the loved Teresa Gamba, third wife of Alessandro Guiccioli, rich land owner. They say that from the balcony Lord Byron wrote some of his best lines, like “Stanzas to the Po”.
Other famous guests stayed here, like the Belgian royal family in 2008 and the famous English actor Rupert Everett.
